He wore them one day and said they were tight. I told him he had to break them in. The next day he said his toes hurt. Asked where - thinking if it was the ends of his toes, maybe I bought the wrong size. Nope. It was his 'toe muscles' he said. They were too narrow. His is not a big kid; actually below the curve for his age and does not have wide feet by any stretch of the imagination. I had bought the same size as another brand he was currently wearing but had worn out the tread.Bought these for my 7-year-old son who was wearing out his shoes in less than a month. The shoes are very sturdily built. We are going on 5 months now and holding up wonderfully. We bought the White/Hot Coral/Nectarine ones. We were hoping the coral would be more red/orange but the color is very coral. We were worried my son would think they were pink and wouldn't wear them. Luckily he thought they were more orange and very cool looking and the very first day my son wore them his friends at school thought they were cool looking too, so he was fine. But beware if you have an anti-pink/coral child. We will definitely look to this brand again with our next shoe purchase.Good quality in general. i was looking for a shoe for my 12 year old son who is wearing nike 6 size.not sure why these are pretty narrow and tight. eventually he bought from a shop brooks men ,size -8. i am confused why the size mis match.the one he bought is expensive but has arch support which was looking for in a shoe for him. Brooks has been very good shoe and very comfortbale.Asics is a good company and quality was good ,but i could not figure out the size mismatches.Bought these for my son and he loves them. He was using under armor and Nike running shoes but neither have very good arch support. I got these and am very happy with the support and look of them. My son is 10 and loves running, he competes in 5k's regularly!Bought these shoes for my 10 y/o son who has problems with his heels if his shoes don't have enough cushion. These shoes have great cushioning and support, much more so than most tennis/court shoes. Asics do tend to run small so I knew to order the shoes a 1/2 size up so they fit perfect.Good quality kid's tennis shoes, which are harder than I thought to find.This pair or style does seem to run a little snug. I wear a women's size 7.5 and normally buy a girls size 6 and they fit perfect but this particular style does run small. I love the color and overall look.Got these for my 8 year old who is playing Junior team tennis and has tennis clinics throughout the week (average 3 days/3.5hrs a week playing tennis. He says they are comfortable and gives him the support he needs while on the courts.
