Bought a new pair for this year too.The Material has very little give so it’s hard for my 5 year old to get them on and off. Otherwise they’re good.MY GRANDSON COULDN'T EVEN GET HIS FOOT INTO THE SHOES. THE ELASTIC AROUND THE TOP OF THE SHOE WHERE YOU PUT HIS FOOT IN WAS SO TIGHT, AFTER WORKING WITH IT FOR A FEW MINUTES TRYING TO GET THEM TO STRETCH, MY GRANDSON TOLD ME HE DIDN'T WANT TO FIGHT GETTING THEM ON EVERY TIME SO I RETURNED THEM.My daughter has wide feet so these are not for her. The opening is elastic and I thought it was lace and tongue. Probably fine for kids with small feet who aren't terribly active. Not sure they'd hold up.
