I got these for my son who wears a 13 but these were too small. I suppose he is a rising size 1 foot. Lol. His heel hung off the back a bit and the top foot cover was tight—it was hard for him to force his foot in the shoe. We ended up giving them to a family friend who wears a size 12 and the shoe was a little long but the top part fit better. The tightness of the top does keep the shoe on well, though it is now a little big/long on its new owner. It’s an odd style. It has an elastic band over the top of the terry cloth foot covering that is not adjustable. I wish it were. If I could loosen it, then I think my kid could wear it. He still fits well in several pairs of size 13 shoes though we have started buying size 1 shoes as he will outgrow the 13s soon, I think. The 1s are a little big but wearable. Overall, these didn’t work for us. An adjustable strap would help a lot.My son is 8 years old and wears a size 6 shoe. his feet are a little wide but he still fits comfortably in a regular width shoe. I got these in the size 8-12 yrs, and while they were long enough and wide enough, the straps are not adjustable so he couldn't slide his foot all the way in. The straps are very tight to the sandal base so there's not much space for the foot to slide in. so I guess the height of the strap/opening is not large enough to the foot in if that makes sense? Anyway, we had to send them back, but amazon did a fast and efficient return there was no hassle with that.I went up a bit in size for my child, but these were still too snug on him. I wish there was a way to adjust them, because they're nice shoes, and we like the way they look. They're plenty long enough, they're just to tight, so my son won't wear them.We like these a lot and are getting a lot of use out of them this summer.They do have a learning curve on how to get them on though.Left to his own my kid thought they were too small and narrow- I needed to show him that the straps are elastic and can just stretch open wide to get your foot in.Sometimes I still need to help him get them on, but I like that once they are on they are nice and snug to the foot. And he can obviously get them off independently.I’ve seen my same that wears these shuffle and struggle with other, looser/fixed slides or flip flops before in a way that looks like a struggle, but he seems confident in these because all the straps and wide padded length of the slides and the elastic that pulls it close to the foot stays snug to the foot in a way a lot of other sandals don’t.I like that even if they do something like a little basketball or scooter in these he’s not tripping over them like regular flops- these stay on better while still being breezy and not needing to find socks.We use them for sprinkler, splash pad on concrete, and just regular errands in summer. I like that they aren’t slippery on wet concrete for the town splash pad.The only negative I can see about these is the price. Admittedly, I’m also sort of cheap, so if budget allows I do think these are a good choice. I do like them a lot though- I think if I saw them on sale I do like them enough to buy more for other kids/ new sizes, etc.Overall I’d recommend them.These sandals fit well, a bit on the small side but maybe only a half size off. They are nice slides that stay on well.Disclaimer-- I received these through the Amazon Vine Program. These are well made slides. The straps on top of the shoe can not be adjusted-- therefore would be a problem for a child with a high instep. The width is more for a child with a narrower foot than mine and with a lower instep. I wish that the straps were adjustable, it would make more a more exact fit. The colors are great and very earthy. The soles are well made and not slick so would grip the ground. These are solid 3 stars because of the narrow fit.I bought this with the intention of having it be a slip-on for my son. Length- and width-wise, it fits as expected. But the shoe is held on by bungees, so the opening where you slide your foot in is kept a bit smaller by the bungees. It’s not overly tight once you get it on - the shoe tops and bungees expand comfortably - but it does require my son to sit down and pry the opening with his hands to get his feet in. Overall it’s a decent shoe, I just wish he could skip it on without using his hands.These are just alright. We wanted them to be slip ons, but the tightness of the elastic that holds them on just doesnt stretch super well, so my kiddo cant just slip his foot in and go. He has to sit down, stretch the top up and open a bit and slide his foot in. After theyre on, they stay on him well and theyre comfortable enough. But not a slip on for sure.
