I'm actually a 29 year old girl with a small foot (5 in women's) and this boot caught my eye. Check out their foot chart and measure your foot with a ruler to see what size you need in little kid or big kid. It worked like a charm. Also, don't worry about not getting half-sizes. I was forced to order a half size up and it was perfect. You'll want to wear pants inside and thick socks, so the room is only a plus. Doesn't hurt your walking at all.I was going on a trip to Washington state and was gonna be in the rain and snow a lot. My feet tend to be cold all the time and I was pleasantly surprised at how warm and dry these boots were. Slush, ice, big puddles, normal city streets, you name it. For 2 weeks I never had a problem! There's an added bonus of them being adorable, even on a petite adult female.Something I must stress though, because a lot of good boots get flak for this: if your feet are cold to begin with, the boot is not necessarily going to warm them up. The boot is supposed to insulate your foot so that the heat doesn't escape and the cold doesn't get in. If your foot is icy after running around in these, try soaking your feet in hot water before putting them on. I promise that it'll at least add hours to your warm boot time. If you have poor circulation, like me, this is gonna happen no matter what boot you wear. However, of all the boots I've worn over the years, I can say this has been the best in terms of affordability, good aesthetic, warmth and utility. Highly recommended! These boots are amazing! I ordered them for my daughter one size bigger than her regular size and the boots seem to fit nice while she still has room to wiggle her toes and wear thick socks...even though I do not think she will need those since the boots are so super warm and the omniheat technology is working wonders! She runs in them fine and so I would say the size is good but I believe she would have been fine even if we ordered her regular size. But she does have narrow feet so maybe thats why...anyway...the larger sizes you have to tie though so make sure your child knows how to tie their laces since the big kid sizes dont come with those little fasteners and are also taller...hit somewhere mid to upper part of the calf...Turkish coffee/pink lady is a lovely combination and so much prettier in person comparing to the picture What I love is the special padding on each side of the ankle on the inside of the boot, so thoughtful of Columbia to add that to the boots...easy to clean...very happy with them and it seems like they will last many many winters=)These boots are fantastic. I bought them for my 2 1/2 year old and I am very pleased. They are easy for her to take on and off herself and the inside liner does not come out along with her foot. I just hate that on other boots. These Columbia boots are a definite yes!! No watergets in and they are warm. No complaints from my baby even in this freezing Chicago weathe.Gone are the days of clunky ill fitting snow boots. These boots are comfortably lined and even have ankle support. My daughter adores them. It has been unfortunate for her that we have had such a mild winter. I am going to see if they make this style for me and purchase them.I buy these same boots very year for my daughter. She loves the look and I love the quality and durability plus the warmth and protection they offer against the snow days. Since she has two sisters younger than she I definately get my money's worth because they are built to last. The fit is great, lightweight. Look great. Bought them for my girls,9 and 6! They love them and say they are warm and comfortable!!Bought these for my granddaughter. She used them the first time, she is 11. She wanted to wear them all week. She really likes them and said they are very cozy and warm and did not let the wet snow into the boot. Wish there was an adult size. These boots were even better than I had expected and the price was great! These boots were really well made, and look great! My daughter loves them, and when she grows out of these I will be buying ones just like them in a larger size!
