I bought these for my son and he likes them a lot. The style is similar to trendy canvas shoe brands such as Converse, but the quality is much better (and price was lower on Amazon!) The insides are more padded than most canvas sneakers, especially around the ankles and tongue -- no blisters with these. I also like the thicker soles and toe bumper design. Time will tell how they wear, but at first they seem pretty well made. FYI there is a discrepancy. My son wears an 8.5 US which is 39 EU. These are listed as 8.5 US/ 35 EU (which would be a 5 US). The US sizing is correct, so if you are used to EU sizing check the charts.
