These shoes are amazing for my son! We leave his afos inside of the shoe and all he has to do is slip his foot right in and an easy zip up and he's good to go, its great! I had to order a wide size because the regular size rubbed the top of his feet too much but the wide works perfect! I strongly recommend these shoes.These fit well for my son when wearing his AFOs. They are easy to put on over them and close. Getting dressed is easier in the mornings!Zipper was tight when trying on shoes. Thought it would loosen after a couple of pulls but the first actual attempt at wearing, the zipper buckled and popped from the start to the closure. Going to try another pair and hope it was a one time defect.Our daughter hasn’t even worn these shoes for a month yet and the sole and toes are already falling apart. I am hoping the Billy Brand will replace the shoes b/c for $60, this certainly shouldn’t happen. We are 1 day outside the return window too.They are very cute but they run tight around the base of her toes. My daughter wears AFO’s & we have the same size for another model & they fit great with no pressure marks.I LOVE the Billy shoes for my son who wears AFO's. Unfortunately, this particular model was not a good fit for him because of how the zipper worked. I had ordered a pair previously and it worked beautifully. So, if AFO's make it hard for this model to work, try their "Jogger" model. The zipper is around the toe, so you can just drop his foot and brace in with no struggles.
