And these will last forever.Awesome sandalsWhen I opened the packaging the shoes and box they came in were soaking wet and the box was ripped and all torn up. The shoes were not even salvageable. It did not look like it was water that was on them, it was a slightly darker color. The brown packaging it came in was fine though, not wet at all.Love these sandals for my 9 yo. The quality is worth the extra money as they can sometimes last thru 3 kids.Our 5.5 year old daughter does not like sandal type shoes that have the between-the-big-toe piece (common on many sandals and standard on flip flops). I saw this style of Birkenstock on a celebrity daughter similar in age and decided to try a pair. Our daughter wears them on the first hole (the tightest available) and they fit perfectly. Birkenstocks are made wider, and while she normally wears a 'medium' size width on shoes, these are fine. The hot pink goes with much of her summer wardrobe, and she gets a lot of compliments when she wears them. We have a friend we recycle her wardrobe to, and she is very excited to have these passed on.My daughter had high hope for these but they immediately gave her blisters and now she won't wear them. They are cute and great quality. I hope she gives them another chance.Absolutely love these for my daughter with wide feet. It’s so hard to find sandles that fit and these are my go to. They run a little big so I would possibly size down. My daughter wears an 11 and we had to buy a 10.These were listed as 9/9.5 and they are closer to the 9.5 which is fine she can grow in them and get moneys worth!
