Bought this for Christmas for my 2 year old and he loves it! It has a great battery life and is easy for him to use. My three complaints about this are 1) Location of the battery for charging, 2) No reverse, 3) Struggles on rough terrain. For number one the battery is underneath the seat so you have to screw it off to charge (more annoying than anything), for two I should have read better I know since everything on here states it doesn't go backwards, but I didn't and I am a little sad that it doesn't reverse. As for the third item, it does not perform well on grass or rocks (I have a desert landscape backyard), but on sidewalks, driveways and on carpet or tile does fine, just wish is went on grass. Overall, my son loves this so a great purchase for the price point, these were just the things that were annoying to me.Assembly was easy enough but the decals were killer; I think there are a total of 45 to put on it. Our 3 y/o loved it, he wants to ride it inside and out. You need wide doors & open spaces if you buy it for inside use. I haven't had any real problems with traction but I am looking for a way to alter the rear tires with some kind of rubberized band or cover to ensure traction on all types of surfaces. I wish it came with 2 batteries so he doesn't have to stop riding while charging. I'd recommend it as gift along with an additional battery.Bought it for my 4 year old and he loves it always want to be riding around on it.however when it’s charging it doesn’t show anything for you to know when it’s charging or if it’s fully charged etc no indication you just have to estimate it.It’s a nice bike. However I been having a problem with my son pedal to where it continues to make the bike go even when my son is off. To where I have to unplug it so the battery won’t drain. Called the number given on the bike twice and told them about the problem they was supposed to send another pedal out still nothing and it’s 8 months later.This is great, only reason for 4 star is I wish it had reverse. This is a lot bigger than expected! Wish is great, the last time we had to buy two separate fourwheelers because the first one my son outgrew too fast. It even came with the tool to put everything together easilyDoesn’t go fast but that’s great for younger kids. Put my three year old on it and it was easy for him to maneuver and drive. Stops on grass. My main problem is the assembly. There’s a pin that goes on the front end wheels and handlebars. Son was using it and it popped off. I thought no big deal I’ll pop it in , but was unable to because a small nut popped off and there’s no replacement. It makes the whole bike useless since it just comes apart nowI've had nothing but issues since ordering this quad toy. First of all I ordered it and it was supposed to arrive 4 days before Christmas and I didn't get it until a week after Christmas. Next once it finally did arrive some of the pieces were already cracked and broken and assembled incorrectly as if it was already used by somebody else who had returned it. After I fixed the pieces that were assembled incorrectly I began to read the instructions on how to assemble it and came to find out that the instructions are so vaguely written that they just really want you to use the pictures which isn't very easy. And then just to top off this nightmare once I had the quad completely assembled and plugged in the battery to charge overnight when I got up the next morning before I went to go pick up my daughter's I tried to test out the quad and the battery didn't even work! I had to call the customer service line which didn't even answer the first three times I called even though it was during business hours finally talked to somebody who seems to know immediately like this happens a lot that it had gotten a faulty battery. now the new battery won't arrive for three to four more business days and my daughters will be here this afternoon to look at this toy that doesn't even work. This has been the most frustrating online purchase I have ever made and I absolutely do not recommend anyone buying from this company in the future I would give it a zero Stars if that were an option.Got this for my 1&3yr old. At first it worked great, literally no issues. The turning radius is pretty much non existent, but for my young ones I like that they couldn’t turn that much. It’s slow, so once again good for littles. This would non be an exciting toy for anyone over four years old.The reason it only got two stars is because when I finally had to recharge the battery.... after it was done charging it went in reverse! Like it would only go backward. The quad is only supposed to go forward, there’s no directional switches. So after much trouble shooting, I still couldn’t get it to go forward again.I was able to get an almost full refund even 7mo after purchase, so that is a bright side. Cudos to Amazon’s customer service who made the return easy and pain free. I give amazon customer service 5 stars, but if you want a ride on toy that lasts more than one charge, then this is NOT the product you want.
