The shoes themselves are great. They are cute and supportive. My only issue is they are small. My son generally wears a 1 sometimes a 2. The last shoes I bought him were size 1.5 and they fit perfectly. I bought a 1 and a 21/2. I knew the 1 would likely be small, but the price was great and he does wear 1's still in some shoes. In the 1's his toes had to bend to get them in. Ok, at least Amazon has a great return policy for cloths and shoes. So, I had my son try on the 2 1/2's to get an idea how long or soon he might be ready for them, I Was SHOCKED - they fit him now, and frankly even in these his toes are pretty much at the front of the shoe. Again the price was great when I grabbed them, so we'll keep the 2 1/2's and he'll wear them, but won't get the time and use I was hoping from the 2 1/2's and of course the prices are not longer crazy good and so buying an even bigger size isn't a real option right now. But, I think it's worth knowing that these are a smaller running then other brands might be. I wish I'd started at the 2 1/2 and then bought a 3 1/2 or 4 for later.I bought these shoes for my son, 4 years old. He is really hard on his shoes and I wanted to start providing him with a good quality shoe in hopes that they would last a little longer than the 2-3 months that his other shoes were lasting. He loves these shoes, says they are comfortable and believes that he can run really fast in them. I would definitely buy them again! The only reason I did not give these a 5 star rating is because they are a little on the wide side and with his 'fast' running, sometimes he runs right out of them :)I ordered these shoes cuz my son is a bit crazy abt his shoes fitting comfortably and its hard to find laces shoes in little boy sizes. the price was right, so we bought it. He was wearing a size 10 and it was a bit snug so i decided to get the 11, so it should fit well now and be good for a couple more months, but when the shoes arrived, they were smaller than his shoes are now! i wish i got him an 11.5 or 12 even though i would have never bought him those sizes before hand.....so the shoes are gr8 and comfy but they deff run a bit small! These are good shoes, my son loves the bright colors. Time will tell how well they hold up with an active kid who destroys much of his clothes/shoes. This is a weird complaint, but the laces have a kind of slippery feel to them and don't stay tied that well. If I can't get them to work better once they are worn in a bit, I may have to replace the laces. My 7 year old son loves the colors of these shoes. He wears them all day long without complaint. My only complaint is that the laces seem to come untied constantly...even when I use double knots. Maybe this is just a lace issue. Either way, I would recommend these shoes. We bought these shoes for our son who has GRAFO braces that require extra wide shoes. This is our first time trying Saucony brand shoes. We are happy with the fit. They are tight enough to stay on, but flexible enough to get on around his brace. We bought these for my 4 year old son, we usually get him a lot of blue so we wanted something different. The are awesome little sneakers. The orange is a little brighter than I would have thought, but they look great. My son loves them and didn't even want to take them off to go to bed the first day he got them. They are nice and light and well constructed. I would purchase this brand again.I bought these shoes for my twin 6 year old sons. They love them, especially the bright blue color! I love that the shoelaces are long enough for their little hands to tie them by themselves. They are just learning and their old shoelaces were just not quite long enough to get good grips on them. They are only wearing them for school, but they are holding up great! Will buy them again! My son complains they feel heavy on feet. He use them mainly for gym purpose at school but he said he is not very feel comfortable just due to heaviness. Otherwise overall seems good.
