So my son is 2.5, he typically wears a 4T/5T depending on the brand (hes not fat just all around a big kid) so I ordered these in a 5T hoping to get through the summer, well we got them and they fit as expected in the waist, but they are by no means shorts. they went all the way down to his ankles. They fit more like leggings then anything. They would certainly look cute on a little girl rolled into capris? Overall they were cute, but I would not order them if you are expecting shorts.
