We are one of those households where everyone has 2 pairs of Keen sandals minimum (we wear other types of Keens besides sandals). We were in a scramble to get a pair for a trip but the right size of Keen are not available for 2-day shipping so we thought we'd give Hi-Tec a try since they look just like Keens (with the protected toes) and was a reputable brand back in the early 90s.We are so glad we try them out! The insoles are so soft that they feel more like a layer of memory foam and they preform just as well as Keens! The extra bonus point goes to the adjustable strips at the heel, making them not only easy to get in and out of but also adjustments for those unpredictable growth spurts! We will definitely try to get a pair for everyone here!
