My boy has been wearing this pair for about three months now. He loves it! He has slim feet, so Most of sneakers are wide for him. This pair is perfect! A pair of Pediped made for slim feet kids!It is quite sturdy... My kid is very active and kicks everything on the road side. This pair still look good!Update: Oct 2016The previous review was written for size 30M EU/12.5-13M US in blue/orange. My 7--year-old boy loves the pair so much! He can wear it even without socks on. As his feet grows larger, he asked me to buy exactly the same style but larger in size. We use the size chart provided by Pediped and determine a size 32M may be good... though it is slightly lager, it will gives a bit room to grow. When the shoes arrived, my boy was so happy at first... then realised 32M is way too huge! He needs to wait for, may be, another 6-12 months to fit in. Nice shoes, but size chart is not really working! We decided to keep ithe second as his feet will eventually grow larger!These shoes have held up through plenty of rough stuff. They still look brand new. Being able to remove the insole for a larger fit was super convenient, and means a longer lasting show as well. My three year old has no trouble getting them on by himself, and they seem comfortable. I knew to order up a size from previous reviews, and that worked out. If you compare shoes of the same size, different brand, you will see that these do run on the smaller side. Don't be afraid to go a size up, because again...insoles. The colors are excellent too. I would purchase them again.This is our second pair of Pediped Gehrigs. As an OT, I love that the shoes allows for proper proprioception and supports proper foot growth. They are well constructed and easy to keep clean. The velcro on the tongue is great feature to prevent it from getting folded in like most sneakers. My little one loves that she can wear pretty, sparkly shoes, but still climb and run around on the playground. I also appreciate that the size chart includes a length of foot measurement so I can order the size accurately. The size extending insert is also a nice feature (the previous pair lasted an entire year size wise and are still in good condition). I plan on buying more as she grows.This shoe (color doesn't matter) has held up better than any other sneaker or tennis shoe we have had over a 4-year period. My 6yr old loves this shoe better than any other- we have tried many.The Velcro stays put, the cushioning is "the best", the toes don't wear out easily, they don't fade, wash well when put through washing machine, fit for two sizes (see info regarding their insets and sizing!), and they are cute...My daughter is very rough on shoes and clothes. These have held up very well. She gets compliments on them as well- although that does not matter to me- longevity and quality trump!Will buy in next size when the time comes.Great looking shoe but they are incredibly small. My son measures a 9 according to two different store's measuring devices. I ordered a size 27, which is supposed to be size 10-10.5. The good thing about Pedipeds is that they have a removable insole so you can measure your child's feet by having them stand on the insole but he had barely an 1/8 inch before his toes were right at the edge lengthwise. The width of his feet were much wider than the insole so even if I ordered a larger size, they would be too narrow. Just looking at the toe box, they are pointier than his previous 5 pairs of pedipeds which have always been wider and roomier for his toes. This is the first time pedipeds have disappointed us and we've been loyal to the brand since his very first pair of infant shoes. If your child has narrow, skinny feet then order these because they are super cute. But if your child has standard, chubby toddler feet, you've been warned.Dye leaches out of the blue shoes when wet! As someone else shared in the pictures, the blue dye really leaches out when these get wet. It stains socks and feet if your child gets his feet soaked in these shoes. The first time, I tried rinsing and soaking them for an extended period to see if the dye would eventually stop coming out. It didn't. Other than that, they are cute, have held up to very frequent wear, have good traction, easy on and off.Love the fit and flexibility of these shoes, they are undoubtedly good for my 4-yr old kids feet, they looked good and he liked them ... however, he was able to wear holes through the toes in a matter of days ... I at-least expect shoes to last for 3-4 months before they grow out of them ... not the case with these, I was embarrassed to have them be seen in them after the first couple of weeks.I got these for my 4 year old. He has a very wide foot, and I've always bought Stride Rite in the last for him. The quality of these are so much better, and they are looking new much longer than other shoes he's worn. He says they're very comfortable and make him fast. ;) The fit is amazing, and e can put on his shoes himself with ease unlike previous pairs. I love the extra insert to prolong the life of the shoe as well. We're very pleased!Nice narrow trainer - often trainers are too wide for my F width fitting child. These are just right.I bought these shoes for my son for Christmas and they fell apart after 10 weeks of wear. My son is still at the cruising stage so the shoes were worn almost entirely indoors at daycare and were subjected to less-than-average wear and tear. I ordered them about a month before Christmas, which meant they fell apart about 7 days after the 90 day guarantee expired (even though they'd only been worn for about 60 days).
