Received these simple boots for my daughter and I’m happy I took a chance. Emu brand could be pricey. But, I purchased them for under $20.00. They will be perfect for the fall and winter months. The quality is good and I pulled at the shearling to make sure it did not come apart easily. The sole is pretty thick but not heavy. Happy with my purchase and hope that you will be too. This is the second pair of boots I've bought for my son. He loves them. The price is good compared to other brands of this style (real leather and shearling.) My son (age 5) wore the last pair everyday of the winter and into the spring, the bottom actually separated from the top. I would have have it fixed except he wore out the lining on the bottom and needed a size up, anyway. I own many pairs of Uggs for me and my children, and these compare well. The only negative is that the second pair I got had black shearling inside, which stains my sons feet. Not a deal breaker, but I prefer the white inside (his feet look dirty all the time.) In summary, good quality materials, very, very comfortable and functional, irritating black dye inside, insoles are NOT replaceable for the children's versions (too bad - the same goes for Uggs.)My daughter only wore these a few times & then the inside lining started to come out in bunches. She absolutely loves the boots, but this created "bare spots" inside the boot and made them too uncomfortable to wear. We are returning them for a replacement & hoping the next pair will not do the same. We also ordered another EMU boot, the mini model, and that one has done the same so it seems this is a trend with these knock-offs as BOTH has failed rather quickly. As far as quality vs the "other brand", these are great looking boots that look just like the real thing...but the quality is not the same. This is especially true of the inside lining. Beside the fact that the lining is coming out due to what we hope is a fixable defect, the lining is much thinner than the "other brand". We bought a pair of the "other brand" for my daughter a year ago as we found them on discount (very hard to do!). She wore them constantly and basically wore the soles out....but the lining is still thick, soft, and comfortable. The EMU's on the other hand, the lining is thin and becomes matted down & "worn looking" after only a few uses. I have a feeling that the EMU's will not hold up very long. However, I refuse to pay full price for the "other brand", but the "other brand" is quality all the way. The EMU's are good looking boots but "knock-off" quality in materials. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I'll try to respond again in a few weeks to see if the replacement pair hold up any better. IF these boots hold up to the test of time, then they are suitable knock-offs. The jury is still out and we did not get off to a good start....I know that there are many favorable rating on these boots, but we are 2 for 2 with lining coming out. My daughter has only had these boots for ONE WEEK & both pairs seem defective. At this point I would rate these are a very cheaply made knock-offs of the real thing....AVOID.Five year old daughter LOVED this boot. She was a 1.5 (wide and thick footed) and a size 2 fitted nicely. The hot pink was a hit and the wool stayed fairly fluffy after daily winter rough wears. It repelled sand, dirt and water fairly well and doesn't stained too much. Knocked down a star because after awhile, the interior sole, the wool started to bunched and she complained it annoyed her.I bought EMUs for my daughter who has been desperate for UGGs. I frankly was unwilling to buy UGGs for two reasons. I am not a brand chaser and I was not enamored with the price, especially for a 10-year old whose feet are still growing. The EMU is comfortable and functional. I cannot comment on durability given that we have had them for only two months. She has, however, worn them almost every day for the last two months-she would sleep in them if I let her- and the boots still look brand new. I am very happy with the quality and price of the boot. My daughter is thrilled with the style. I would absolutely buy, again.I bought these for my 9 yr old so that she could have the same warm snuggly feeling as I do in my Uggs (she's always happily worn the Target brand knock offs for yrs). I wear mine for everything and have for the past 3.5 yrs with the only issue being that I have to replace the $15 liner inserts every yr. Her EMUs have already started ripping and the season isn't over yet. Bought my 3 yr old son the EMU monster boots and they are pretty great thus far except the front wears easily and the red from the mouth runs if it gets slightly wet...he doesn't wear them in the rain or mud. Too bad you can't get a top quality product at a good price...these are still a little pricey for kids' shoes.First ones I ordered the stitching came loose and the toe started separating from the sole, but Amazon was lightning fast and hassle free about switching them out for me! I even received the replacement pair before I shipped the damaged pair. My 5 year old also has a pair of these in purple. They are very durable boots. I don't find them as attractive as the more expensive uggs, but for the colors & the price, they will certainly do just fine!I thought I had ordered the light pink boots for my grand daughters 8th birthday only to find out they were pink with numerous stamped hearts on the outside. Even thought they weren't the boots I thought I ordered my grand daughter was thrilled with the present. They fit perfectly and she was already planning an outfit to wear for the school next day to show off her new boots.可愛いし、商品に問題もなく、発送も早く、問題なしです!サイズ違いも欲しい。
