Theses shoes are amazing. My son always had a hard time getting his brace into regular shoes. I wish I had purchased these sooner. My son is ten and for the first time he can get his shoes on without any struggle.My son got orthotics to help reduce his toe walking and he doesn’t know how to tie his shoes yet, which made him annoyed about wearing the braces and needing help with putting his shoes on. These shoes solved our problem, they work well with the orthotics and my son still has his independence. When he isn’t wearing his braces, he still loves how easy these are to zip on and off.I ordered these low tops to fit with my son's AFOs. Initially I ordered a size 11 but it was too long then I sized down to a 10 and it fit the brace perfect. I wish amazon would sell the wide width sizes because I think that would've been just a bit better.
