The treads on the bottom of the sandals are great for running. This is an excellent purchase. I have a tool to measure my daughter’s foot size and these sandals fit true to size.My kids hate sandals every year because of hotspots and blisters. We haven’t had any issues with these so far. In fact, they were so great that I ordered a pair in my size (big kid 4).
