I am torn on this review (a bit like the shoe!) because Amazon offered their usual exceptional customer service and replaced the shoes when I contacted them with another pair, immediately - so I cannot complain about the service. However I must comment that the shoes are not as robust as the saltwater sandals that we have bought in the past and would have purchased again, but I really like the style of these - and they do look lovely on. Our daughter has worn the replacement pair a few times now and they have not broken so I am saying they are good - if they stay together - I just don't want people considering purchasing these not to know that they might get a faulty pair like we did on the first occasion.Kudos to Amazon though for replacing the shoes straight up!I completely agree with the reviewer who mentioned the shoes are very large. I was disappointed, however with good customer service I'm hoping to get the one-size smaller, and I hope that will work. The ankle strap was about 50% too big for my little granddaughters.One week later, we've received a size 30, instead of 31, and the good news is that the shoe fits. My daughter was pleased with the appearance (shoes were for granddaughters, 5 and 6 years old) My granddaughter put the sandals on, and appears to be very comfortable. Thank you the shipper for good service.If your toddler has fat, chunky feet, look elsewhere for a cute pair of leather sandals. I stuck a small potatoe into each sandal and then wet them and that seemed to make them expand a little bit, If you aren't up for that hassle, find some other sandals. Otherwise, they are wellmade and oh so very cute! Soft and comfy. Just not for chunky footsies.These are outstanding. I was looking for an easier alternative to saltwater sandals that my daughter could more quickly put on without help. We have bought a new pair in the next size up about 5 times now. The velcro strap is very sturdy and easy for my child to do herself. The platinum color is great and goes with everything. They look nice but are also fine for casual wear. They are very comfortable. Highly recommend!My daughter is wearing 9 - 9.5. We ordered size 9 (26) and they fit perfect! I would not size up at all right now. She wears Nicer brands like Plae and stride rite, and Hanna Anderson. These fit great. She had a perfect amount of toe room, not too big. Size 10 have quite a bit of toe room, almost tripping. Kids typically grow up to 1/4” every 3-4 months at this age.My daughters favorite sandal. Such a versatile sandal that can be worn with dresses, shorts and pants. Flexible rubber sole and best of all a velcro strap closure that makes it easy for the little ones to independently put on and take off. Shoe is designed in such a way that my daughter never stubbed her toes with them on, and the rubber sole is no slip. Great product overall that lasted my daughter years!The shoe is very cute. And I believe probably more comfortable than the salt waters. Unfortunately on the second wear she tripped and the whole backing came off. I think for shoes that are made of leather this should not be happening. I am returning I don't know if shoe buy will be refunding me because they were worn 2x. But I will update. My child loves how shiny and pretty they pair with dresses or even shorts in the summertime!nice quality, but returned, as prefer the gold ones
