Ok, I just wrote a bad review for the shoes that these are replacing; they were Sketchers also, but very poor construction. I would wait to review this, but the construction on these shoes is so good; there is definately a huge difference between these and the other ones!I didn't realize that these shoes were the memory foam ones. I had gotten a pair when they first came out. The shoe held together well (I still have them) but they had always squeeked and in the rain, they sucked up water. But, the shoe was a good shoe. Now these I could feel the difference immediately, so I'm glad I accidently bought them! They felt so good right out of the box, I didn't want to take them off. It's been years since i felt that way about a shoe!I would like to add that I do weigh a lot, therefore I walk a lot (I am an adult). I say that just in case someone sees this review & thinks I weigh like 90lbs. It is very comfortable, sturdy, and looks good, too! Thank you for finally getting it right again, Sketchers! And I recieved them fast, too! Ok, Im done?My daughter loves Sketchers. Pink and purple are her favorite colors so these were a perfect choice. She wears them five days a week to school. She's worn them almost every day for a month. They are incredibly comfortable. They are also very light in weight. The memory foam inside is supportive and cushions the foot well. We never had any need to "break them in." She never had them rub or cause blisters. They are holding up very well. They clean with a damp cloth. She thought it was great that they came with two pair of shoe laces. She can wear the pink or periwinkle as she chooses. If you're looking for a durable, comfortable and fashionable shoe for your kiddo, these are a great choice!Bought for 7 year old daughter. Owned previous pair of skechers similar to these, outgrew. Didn't have chance to go to store and find pair of equal quality so we found these which are nearly identical except color which she loves. Knowing outgrown size and knowing fit I desired for future growth bought a little bigger, I hoped, and they fit exactly the way they needed to, she will wear well into the summer months, yay. They are a solid shoe for everyday. BTW she loves the color of these as well, so does mom. Very happy.I originally ordered a size Youth 4.5 which has been my size for years and when it arrived and I opened it I could already tell it was going to be way too big. The amazing seller quickly (within just days) exchanged it to a size 3.5 and it fits perfect! I had 3 hip surgeries and this pair of shoes is super comfortable to walk in with those gel bubbles at bottom and the memory foam inset. I also like how it holds my ankle and these are great driving shoes! It also came with an extra pair of black shoe laces!My daughter wears a size 4 (4 and 1/4). We ordered a 4.5 and it was too tight. We ordered a 5.5 and it fits her well. It has a little extra room, but not too roomy. She says they are comfortable. I'd say they (like most gym shoes) are overpriced for how long they will last. The material is the now typical mesh and easily frays and tears. I'd pay $20 for these, not $40.We have always been a fan of Sketchers for our younger daughter. They fit her like a glove, have wonderful Cloud-like inserts and she’s very picky! Unfortunately this pair didn’t hold up as long as we would have liked, although she is wearing them nearly every day. We bought them in Mid August and now, three months later, the little gel bubbles on the soles are starting to rupture. She’s complaining that it “feels weird”, I’m sure it’s a bit unstable under there now! So while I would have liked to have rated this one as high as previous Sketchers purchases, I just can’t. I am rating these three stars because we do love the gel cushion inserts, the color is very cute and playful and the rest of the shoe held up well. We will continue to buy Sketchers because it really just seems isolated to this one style with the gel bottom.My daughter loves these shoes. So many colors to pick from. The pair she picked is in the Skechers commercial and she thinks that is just awesome. My daughter is a very busy 5 year old and these shoes don't show any wear and tear after 2+ months. They wash easily in the washing machine. I air dry them. I love how they come with an extra pair of laces in a different color. Our new puppy chewed her one of her laces. I popped the extra pair on them and she loves the color change. We'll buy more in the futureCute sneaker but I would not buy these again. 2 girls and 2 pair sneakers. Girl #1 (skinny feet) has the hardest time getting them onto the foot, once in place though she seems GTG. Girl #2 first pair went back (wrong size, my fault); however second pair (her foot is normal width or medium) hard to get on and once on is okay but add a sock and it is too tight! Mind you there is room in the toe box so what is the issue? Beats me but I am not or cannot send these back because they have been worn about 2 times now. The girls like the sneakers but I am not all that pleased so no more Skechers for the short run. Previous to this I really like Skechers but this experience dampens my enthusiasm for this brand right now.Unlike the newer go walks which you can virtually drop one size...skech-airs tend to be more bang on correct size. Just a difference in style as go walks are comfy standing about shoes..whereas these are more for running in. The colour is awesome and my daughter says like floating away wearing them. Never had a pair wear out on either of my kids...even their go runs for athletics,so can't see long term issues with quality.Brilliant! I can not buy these anywhere, so, so happy with them!
