My daughter wears a 7.5W in Stride Rite shoes and so I followed the advice of others and ordered a half size down. They are still a little long, but the strap keeps them in place. They aren't as wide as most Stride Rite shoes (I have found most JJ brand shoes aren't as wide as SR), but these had plenty of give. She put them on and wore them around the house for awhile without complaining or any marks on her feet from being too tight.Once they were a little worn , I let her wear them to school/play. The bow material under the glitter is navy under the navy glitter and wore well. Unless you are looking, you'd think they were new. The white under the gold ones show the white through the worn glitter. With all her other shoes, these are her go to shoe. She loved these shoes. They were still comfortable enough to play in all day. She finally complained about them being tight on her toe. A sad day for both of us! After 6 months of wear, I bought a couple more pair.
