My one year old put on this shoe and took right off. This is a big deal because they are her first real pair of shoes( she's been wearing crib shoes up to this point) and because she seems rather uncomfortable with the other pair I got her.I have bought several pairs of UMI shoes in the past and they always fit well for the stage they are meant for. They also last for what seems like forever and I'm usually able to resell them to consignment stores or hand them down to others. From the looks of it this shoe will not be an exception.It fits a bit large ( which I personally prefer) but not too large that they slip off. It is worth noting that I have a chubby toddler and if your child is petite or is a baby with narrow feet, you may need to size down. Alternately they could be worn with socks which is how I plan on using them.Purchased the red shoe. It is very cute in person with a slightly sporty look. For the price I paid it's an incredibly good purchase.
