I like these shoes and my daughter loves them. To me, they seem a little too wide and I keep asking my daughter if they are too big for her and she says they are perfect. I did buy 1/2 size bigger for her and maybe that's why they seem a little wider and they will fit snug when her foot grows into them. I was surprised that I didn't feel any arch support, they seem flat to me, compare to every other shoe that we've had from Stride Ride before. I still like the shoes a lot because they fit with any kind of clothing, for any occasion (playground, school, etc.)The size 13.5 was a bit too big for my granddaughter, however, I decided to keep them and ordered a size smaller since these shoes seem to run a bit bigger than the size shoe she is wearing at this time. My granddaughter has had Mary Jane shoes for years and loves them especially because they are so convenient to put on and take off. I'm sure the 13.5 will not stay in the box for long seeming how fast her feet grow. They are such practical shoes and I will continue buying them as long as I can order her size.Great quality! Nice material and sole. I like the gray kind of dirty look lol. My daughter likes that the strap loops and doubles over. Also My daughter is a true 13 as some shoes run big and some small. But these ran huge!! Returned for a size 12 and will see how those fit and how well they last through the summer.I love these on my daughter. She began walking at 10.5months and by 13months she was full speed ahead the second her feet hit the floor, and these didn't hinder her or hold her back. She "stubs" her feet but her toes are protected and she doesn't get hurt. She doesn't drag her feet wearing these. They go with multiple outfits. Also, a huge bonus, they are very easy to put on and take off.We liked the shoes, the quality is great, the length is correct for the size, however they run narrow. If your childs foot is regular or wide you may want to go with the wide size in this style. My daughters foot is regular and it seems very wide in these shoes and possibly uncomfortable. (She is 2 so it is hard to know if they are uncomfortable or not.)This is the 3rd pair of Stride Rite shoes I've purchased for my granddaughter. All of them have been high quality shoes and nice looking as well. I remember 30 years ago buying Stride Rite shoes for the mom of the very person I'm buying for them now. Back then, they were high quality shoes, but not as good looking as the other shoe brands. Stride Rite has learned to combine comfort and quality with eye appeal! They also come in wide which is a plus...since my little granddaughter has wide feet. And my granddaughter loved the shoes as well..."Pretty!" she squealed when she saw them!These fit my daughter's feet perfectly. Mary Janes are a great transition shoe during spring, and are the only type of shoe that my 2 year old can put on herself (which she insists on doing now). The navy blue version are very cute with all of her outfits. So far these are great for preschool and playground because they don't show much wear and tear. I'd buy these again.These run very big. My 5 year old outgrew her size 12.5 shoes so I bought her these in a 13.5. My mom also bought her a pair of nikes also in a 13.5. The nikes fit perfect, but these are at least an inch too big. There isn't a sock thick enough to make them fit. They do seem well made.Great quality for a great price!I love these on my daughter. The fabric is soft and the bottoms are flexible. They stay on well and she can put them on with ease. I bought a second pair.
