Bought this same boot in size 3 last year @Ross. My daughter wanted another high black boot as these were all worn out. She went to Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Ross n Marshalls to look for another black high boot. All the boots we tried were either too round in the front, too furry, or too wide in the calf section. I decided to try looking in Amazon, and to my surprise, they sold her same boot- but we got it in size 3.5. True to shoe size. Calf fit is still a little large but better than some of the others we've tried n same as her previous boot.My daughter wore these for 4 months and she loves them. Fit as expected-true to size. They do scuff and top layer has worn off.So far so good, my daughter loves them. Giving 4 stars because I don't know how well they will hold up for an 8 yo playing hard.My little fashionista loves her new boots! They're more sturdy than ones in the stores -- great for wear and tear. I bought it a half size bigger so she can get good use out of them. Love the color, too. Goes with most of her clothes.Boots fit good and look cute but after the first wear the soft sole is already wearing away. Cute boot but would not purchase again and I don't think they will last very long as the sole of shoe is wearing away fast.Bought these for my 6 year old daughter for her English riding lesson and to wear to school. These will work perfect for both. Fit as expected and not loose or slouchy at the calf.It is a gift for my granddaughter...My daughter loved these boots and the fit appears to be ok, the problem is the inferior materials used. The toes on both boots are completely destroyed after only three days of use. This is also almost exclusively indoor use since the children switch to sneakers for recess. For a company like Nine West, I would have expected MUCH better quality. I would definitely NOT recommend these!My daughter loves them and says they are very comfortable. They look like they will hold up but wondering about one of the zippers? Fun boots!My child loves these boots. Been a few weeks and no issues.
