This is the second pair of saucony sneakers I've bought for my son, and I can now defintely say they run very narrow. I thought maybe it was just the first pair (which I had to exchange for wide fit) but these are quite tight on even half a size up. The length is great, and they're very sturdy and well made. Since they're such nice shoes and I don't want to return them, I got them nice and hot with a blow dryer and stretched them well by hand so my son would wear them. These are for my 5 y/o. He is not a shoe person, but when he saw these, he decided that he must wear them to school. (This was after buying another pair of light-up shoes, which he also wanted to keep.) Anyway, I take the approval from my son as the highest praise. As for my, of course I think they're cute and I love the contrasting color scheme. I would say that this shoe is good for a medium to narrow foot. My son has a super skinny foot, but these fit him great. I think they probably run just a tiny bit small, which probably helps with the fit for my son's skinny feet and ankles. This is the third pair of these shoes we have bought for our daughter. They have good support and great traction. They make good hiking shoes and are water resistant, which is a bonus since kids seem to find all of the puddles! While the lack of lacing may seem like they are easy to put on, they are a little stiff at first and the strap needs to be opened quite far to get them open enough to slide a foot inside. That is the only drawback. These shoes are durable and hold up to trails, puddles and riding bikes.Durable, but looks shoddy. My grandson has had these for almost 60 days now and they look shot. However, there is still life in the soles, but the top could be better for such a short time. The fit is excellent and he says they are really comfy. Can only be worn now for play..no dress casual.Love the look but hard to get on my son. Little wear on side by velcro after only 2 weeks of wearing to half day school. So far so good. My son is in between kids and grown up shoes and these worked well and the sizing was spot on. We are Saucony fans so unless they are falling apart upon arrival, they are typically a good buy. He likes the tread and said they are great for tree climbing :)My son was very excited to get these shoes, since we let him pick them out. However, the first time we tried to put the shoes on, the top of the heel folded over into the left shoe. We pushed it back up, but the heel area was lumpy and not comfortable. I figured that it would work itself out, so I let my son wear them to school. It still has a bit of a "lump" in the heel and has never been comfortable, since. The second day that my son wore these shoes, the rubber toe on front popped loose from the shoe and was flapping around. We had to glue it down, again. After trying to wear these shoes for a couple of weeks, he finally told me that he didn't like his new shoes anymore because they hurt his heel. Looked good. Poor quality. Waste of money. The shoes are nice and seem durable. Son has only worn them a few times for a short duration each time. They do seem to run a bit small compared to other shoes, so I bought 1/2 a size bigger than I had planned, and they fit well.Saucony already has a great rep for making top-notch shoes, and this one is no exception. It's the ideal shoe for kids: solidly made, comfortable....and best of all, waterproof. My grandson can run in the early morning dew at the cottage, play in the school field after a heavy rain, or tramp in the woods on a cool October day and his feet will stay dry and warm. What more could a parent (or grandparent) ask for in a shoe? A must buy.Very good quality. Slightly heavy.Good quality, durable shoes. My son loves them.Daughter loves the colours. This is a very sturdy shoe and good for rugged terrain as well as everyday use.
