My daughter wore these semi-daily for the past 7-8 months. During that time they have served her well and she seems very happy with the shoe. They fit her well and appeared to give her the support she needs on her little feet.Mostly, kids grow so fast at this age that durability of a shoe is rarely a concern. However, I've noticed that with these shoes, the rubber on the soles of the shoes have worn down a lot more than expected, and on the heel there's not much rubber left. Same with the area under the balls of her feet. It's not like my kid is grossly overweight (actually a bit underweight) or drags her feet around like Frankenstein or clomps around like a monster, so I was a little surprised to see the degree of wear on the shoe. Her older brother, who is a lot more abusive to his footwear than my daughter, has never been able to wear down a pair of shoes like this, so I'm guessing this may be a characteristic of this shoe.Regardless, the shoes have served my daughter well and we're happy with them. They just won't be able to be used as hand-me-downs.Runs very small! Buy a whole size up if going from Stride Rite. They are pretty decent sneakers. We just ordered our 3rd set in the pink/cranbery color for our growing daughter. Color is vibrant and doesn't fade. These are great for warm weather bc it's breathable mesh but doesn't allow woodchips from playgrounds in. Just don't let your kid run through puddles. No complaints in cold weather bc in NJ we switch to boots when there's snow. Or we just carry her to the car or door.Shoes are light and she loves running in these sneakers. I see her have better balance in these than other fashion shoes. As another buyer said, the pink color may rub off the soles after a while, but not much and you'll never really see it bc it's on the floor! Should not be a deal breaker. The fit is very small. On our 1st pair, we realized this from the reviews and since the returns are free for amazon prime, we ordered it in 2-3 different sizes and sent back the ones that were small. Go a size up or so. Kiddo still needs help sliding these onto her feet bc the opening is a snug fit. These shoes are cute and my little girl loves them. They are a bit stiff at first, and they do seem to run a bit small compared to other brands. I ended up buying a 1/2 size bigger than I had planned, and they fit well. As soon as she put them on, she did the obligatory run down the hallway to see how fast she could run in her new shoes. She has been wearing them ever since (about a week so far) and she has had no complaints. These are great shoes. My 3yo daughter doesn't like her shoes tight so I have to buy her shoes wide. It can be very difficult finding wide shoes that are cute, durable and reasonably priced. I have found all those things in these shoes. I like the variety of colors offered and so did my daughter. They must be very comfortable because she wants to wear them every day. They are very easy for her to put on and take off with the velcro strap which is very important for this busy mom. I might need to buy a second pair in a different color because she likes them so much and she is so picky. Please hit yes if this review was helpful to you. Thanks.Fit perfect! I am so glad I didn't listen to all those reviews that said size up. The sizing of these shoes is the same as the stride rite brand shoes. Fit her absolutely perfect. I'm so glad these shoes come in XW because it's hard to find shoes to fit my girl. The colors are very bright and attractive. These are her 1st sneakers, will buy this shoe again! 4 stars because they are a little hard to get on.I think this makes the 4th pair of these cute tennis shoes I have purchased for my daughter. When she grows out of them I just buy a new pair in a larger size because I know they are lightweight, comfortable, durable, and easy to get on. I usually buy a half size larger to give her more time to wear them. They fit snug without slipping around. Even though my daughter doesn't need wide, it's helpful to have the different width options as well. I recommend this shoe for active toddlers.I don't usually take the time to write reviews but for the price that I paid, I have been so disappointed with the quality of this shoe that I wanted to share so others would know. The second day that my daughter (almost 3 years old) wore these shoes she came home from school with part of the sole already starting to fall apart (on both shoes, the part of the sole that comes up on the side of the shoe, inside near where her big toe would be). The material was shredding and falling apart. And after a week of use now the sole on the bottom of the shoe is also peeling off. These were replacing other Saucony shoes that were also starting to fall apart but she had been wearing those for probably 6 months so I wasn't expecting them to fall apart on day #2. Needless to say, I will not be buying this brand of shoes going forward!!Update - after less than 2 months of wear these shoes have definitely been ready for the trash for a LONG time, but I've been making my daughter still wear them since they were so expensive, I'm trying to get as much life out of them as possible! The soles are completely falling apart. I would very strongly encourage you not to buy these shoes. I have been SOOO disappointed with this purchase.Run small! Our daughter was growing out of her little kids size 10 Stride Rites. Stride Rite and Saucony are owned by the same company, and she's had Sauconys before. So I figured I could just order her a 10.5 little kids Saucony. I was disappointed to see the 10.5 Saucony was actually a bit smaller than the 10 Stride Rite.I bought these for my daughter who has size 3.5 feet. The size 4 fit amazing. And they are comfy and easy for her to use.Wish I could buy more in different colours.LOOOOVE these. My 2 year old love these as well. Been telling everyone about her pretty purple shoes. This pair is very breathable as most of the material is mesh. Great for summer. Great quality as well. These are great little shoes. I was looking for stride rites and saw these on sale and took a chance, soooo glad I did. These are actually a second pair I bought for indoors at day care. Very pleased.Real light and high breathability through upper mesh. Materials feel cheap but the weight makes up for it. Counstruction is acceptable. Soles are somewhat hard although soles bend easily.4 yr old can put on and off by herself and loves the colours. I am happy, price was great too.
