The childs size 5 is for the average womans size 7. Same thing. I'm familiar w/ UGG sizing. I wear a womens 7 in regular shoes, womens 6 in UGGs, and childrens size 5 in UGG's. UGG sizing is difficult for most. I have a narrower foot and prefer the childrens size 5 to any of the womens sizing since they are somewhat floppy on my feet after the shearling flattens.Got these for myself and I'm a women's size 6 and they fit great and I saved from having to buy an adult pair. Comfy and go with anything. I love both pairs of my Uggs and I'm sure they'll last for years to come. Although I think I overpaid using amazon...next time I'll shop around.
