My 5 year old LOVES them! They make him superfast! My son has normal / narrow feet and these sneakers are pretty wide / loose in the front. When you tighten them, then the fabric kind of wrinkles up which looks strange. So I loosened them to avoid that wrinkled fabric. I LOVE that they are so light, flexible, airy and that they have no real laces! My son has very hot feet and these will be perfect for spring up until summer. Also they are closed enough not to let too many little stones inside which would 'slow' my son down. ;o)My son has "special feet". They are flat, fat and wide. These shoes are wonderful. We pulled them straight out the box and he wore them with no complaints and he is extremely vocal about uncomfortable shoes. The toe box is wide enough not to crowd his feet. We are very pleased with this shoe so far. They seem to be well made but cannot speak for durability due to just receiving them. If they can withstand the wear and tear of my 7yr old we will definitely be purchasing another pair. My husband and I are contemplating a pair for ourselves.I bought these for a trip to Costa Rica for Hiking and exploring waterfalls. I wore them every day and they were so comfy and light! Did not rub blisters-and felt as light as my Chaco sandals. It was very humid and rainy in Costa Rica so they never quite dried out completely-however I live in south Florida and wear them on our boat or to the shore line where it is rocky and they dry quickly in the sun here. Highly recommend!I am an adult that has always worn a women's size 8 in Chaco sandals (Z/1). I'm a huge fan- I own too many pairs and have worn them for over 10 years. I recently bought my first "big kid" size 6 Z/1 and was very happy to discover that it fit great at half the price.I needed a full coverage shoe to use out on the boat to protect my feet from oyster shell. I have Keens for this purpose and have never really liked them. I was excited to try the Chaco version and purchased this product in the big kid 6 size. They did not fit well at all! Compared to the open sandals, the foot bed was shorter and cramped. They also had NO arch support of any kind and seemed very cheaply made. I walk a lot in the bays of Texas for work and need a comfy water shoe that won't kill my feet after a long day. I returned them without even wearing them a full five minutes indoors.I so wanted these shoes to work! Chaco really let me down on quality and sizing. I am hesitant to order the adult version now online, I will be looking for them locally so that I can see them before I buy.My 6 year old son loves these. He wore them all through Disney with not a blister to be had! Also they are perfect for the beach. Even in the ocean they never once came off of his feet. After a lot of wear in water, they may smell or make smelly feet but it's a simple soap and water fix! I also wear chacos all summer long and now I want some of the shoes like his!my daughter is now 7 and is now wearing the largest size this comes in. i wish it came in a larger size for big kids because we love the comfort of this shoe. we took it on a couple of international trips with lots of walking and it was great- breatheable, sturdy, comfortable. i would buy them again and again if there were more sizes available.Bought these for my daughter who loves to play outside and has sweaty feet, any typical shoe she either destroys with mud or her feet sweat in them so much that powder and sprays cannot mask the smell. I bought them a little big so she can wear them all summer and (MAYBE) next summer. The elastic "shoe lace" tightens just enough that it stays put. We call them her everything shoes, mud, water, hiking, running, jumping... they're not going anywhere. We love these shoes for our daughter. Her last ones were accidentally left at the beach so I had to order new ones. I wanted to order a little bigger size, but unfortunately ordered too big of a size. Oh, well. She'll wear them when she can. They are so easy to put on and take off, plus they're comfortable for her. Love the color, too!
