I wear a US women’s 8. I often buy big kids size 6 if there is the style I prefer. The sizing is the same, and the shoe is often cheaper. I was unable to wear these as the synthetic lacing was sewn down directly onto the tongue; this makes the upper width of the shoe unable to be adjusted. After I cut the fake bow stitches from the tongue, I could adjust the shoe as normal for a custom fit. An uncomfortable 10 minute drive to the office, a 10 minute cut job, and I was in business. I just truly was amazed that the shoes were non-adjustable; aren’t “big kids” expected to learn to tie their shoes? I also was a little surprised that the lacing was synthetic leather; not really what I expected from Sperry. All in all, the shoes are comfortable, light, and fit well. I would buy again.
