We purchased these three months ago and they are still holding up. Big deal, three months you say? My ten year old is always on the go and is extremely hard on shoes - very few make it six months and I am feeling confident that these will. The bottoms are still in-tact as well as the interior of the shoe - incredible!! Last year I spent $50 on a pair of name brand skater shoes and they didn't last 6 weeks. If your kids aren't as extreme as mine, I think you will be very happy with these tennies.8 month update: still very impressed! They are showing a lot of wear but still intact. I will be purchasing another pair.They are super comfy, and reseaonably priced. Thought we would get more use out of them. They seemed to fall apart quicker then most sneakers. Had to buy new laces after 3 months since these frayed. Toe started to rip about 5 months.My son is tough on sneakers and he got about 8 months out of them, and about after 5 months, they were very "ratty" looking. Just purchased another pair to replace these.My daughter REALLY wanted these sneakers. Amazon had the best price. She has been wearing them for a week or so they look good. Hopefully they last better than the Reebok Transitions did - only like two month and had holes in them.My son wanted this shoe that apparently makes one cool. Several kids at his school wear these, and they happen to be excellent runners. Chase games are a rite of passage for boys in 4th grade. Anyway, he loves the shoes, and he comes home from school delighted that he's the second-fastest in his class. For that, I'll give the shoes top ratings. Only time will tell if the shoe stands up to the wear and tear of 9-year-old-ness.Great shoes! Sharp looking and durable. My son loves them! The price was inexpensive for a trendy shoe. We could never find them in the store for such a discounted price. We are very happy!When I received these I was elated until I realized the pink wasnt red. It looked red and these were the school colors from my high school. Its a neat shoe with that sole. I just hated that they werent what I needed at that time. Other than the color I was highly satisified.Satisfied but I just cant seeWe received the shoes the first day of school. So I surprised him at the bus stop with them. He had them opened before we even got inside the house. We were both very pleased with the shoe. He loves them and says they are very comfortable. We are getting a pair for his two little brothers as well. Great shoe!!My Grandaughter loved them. Wearing today. A mix up when she ordered, she by mistake had them sent to Fredricksburg,VA. instead of Denver, CO. So goes my free shipping. So I sent to her and it took another week before she received.
