I had to return these shoes for a smaller size but otherwise I love the lightweight feel of these shoes. The stitching looks like good quality and the insole provides good support for growing feet. The tread is fine for normal walking but probably not for more rugged terrain like grass sports. I purchased these for my son in preschool for his uniform. It's a hassle looking for good quality white sneakers with a velcro close. Initially, we bought Champions sneakers from P*yl*ss and my son loved them. There were lightweight and fit his wider feet. Unfortunately they are completely destroyed after 4 months of wear. Our second attempt to buy white sneakers was from Stride Rite. They had great tread on the bottom and nice supportive insole however my son refused to wear them due to the weight. I have searched high and low in the malls for white sneakers. Alas, success.My son wears size 11 normally so I ordered a 11.5 Tsukihoshi shoe. It was way to big. I reordered a size 11.
