OK, so yes, these pants run SUPER SMALL. As in my 8yr old daughter who normally wears a sz 8, sometimes a 10 in cheaper clothes, who weight 64lbs had to get a size 12. The sz 12 was about 2 inches too long (which doesn't matter cause she's wearing boots) and a tad loose in the legs, but a perfect fit in the waist. That being said, the quality of the pants is much better than I expected. The fabric is heavier, sturdier almost, and they are a thicker but yet soft & comfortable material (almost fuzzy not like spandex-y). Also, they do have the stirrups for keeping the pants down in the boot. My daughter LOVES them, probably because she has a pair of real riding pants, but she thinks they look super cool.
