My Little League player has w-i-d-e feet, triple wide to be exact, size 7 in big kids. He's 9 yrs old. We have the toughest time finding him shoes. The poor kid has been squeezing into cleats for the past few years. When he first put these cleats on they did feel snug around the widest part of his feet (around his toe area). I loosened the laces around there and then cinched the top laces firmly. We had him wear the cleats around the yard and when he was in the yard playing catch. After 2 games they feel great on him.I also like the styling. My son's not a flashy kind of kid and prefers black. However he really likes these. They look sharp. They don't scream out to you but they look like nice cleats and definitely give him a grown up baseball player look.Ultimately, we consider this shoe a definite success. Admittedly, they did need a tiny bit of "break-in". Keep in mind though, my son's feet are huge. If you're looking for a wide/double wide shoe, this cleat will fit nicely right out of the box. I'm so grateful to New Balance for offering wide sizes.Excellent build quality. Our boys have a very wide foot and are challenging to fit. Typically they wear extra-wide but we took a chance with this show in the wide. Traction and comfort are reported as good from a 9 year old perspective.Only reason a 4 star is they run a little big to true size. Consider ordering 1/2 smaller than normal.I ordered the 6 "W" by mistake....the size picker (drop down) has an M or a W option?I didnt catch the diffference at the time. I think the drop down should actually say (Wide). My son wore them in the yard before I realized the size was too big. He has to wear3 pairs of socks to make up the difference. Basically....I'm eating this pair.My son has always had wide feet. His official shoe size width from Stride Rite is Extra Wide.We just got these cleats and they fit great!New Balance is known to offer a selection for adults and kids in WIDE widths, and I was so glad to discover that they made baseball cleats. The shoe is great looking, well made and my son loves it.My grandson has very wide feet and can not wear the regular shoes found in the stores. We were glad to find the wide width in the smaller size. The shoes look as good as or better than what the other kids have. These look really great and they have the quality of new balance and support in the arch. The only thing I would say is they are a little narrow so if you have wide feet these will not work. My son has regular to narrow width foot and they fit him perfectly. I bought a half size higher than his shoe size and they fit so they run a tad bit small. My son has flat feet, and the shoe selcetion has been very limited. All the big brands seem to think all kids have narrow feet. My boy's feet are wide, and have gone through 3 pairs of Eastons since February 2011. This is his 4th pair, and seem to be treating his feet with more confort, and wearing well. We will buy these again in the future. This shoe fits my son very well, he wears Wide Size shoes and most cleats at stores don't come in wide. New Balance Wide shoes fit good and seem to last a long time. I would recommend these to anyone needing Wide Width. update: my son used for full baseball season and they are still in great condition, he likes them a lot.
