I've bought plenty of kid's shoes in my lifetime. Always insisted on quality & style. ALWAYS paid top dollar. I've spent as much as $120 for a pair of kids shoes if I loved the style & construction. No price was too high. Now I'm buying kids shoes for a granddaughter in an era of a tighter budget than I once had. I must pay more attention to price without compromising on construction & style. While I prefer Primigi, Leli Kelly and some of the other imported brands, upwards of $70 is now a stretch. I've still done it though. Decided to see if I could wrap my taste around a less pricey brand. I decided to do my own personal test market. For $40, I found these Jumping Jacks on Amazon. I chose them because they looked alot like Primigi's but for about 1/2 the price. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I bought them in the very cool looking deep purple from the choices of brown, black or purple,( although I cannot recall exactly what they called this color choice). Absolutely stunning, unique and well constructed girl's shoe. Love the traditional leather Mary Jane style so similar to Primigi & Leli Kelly. It's a winner at $40!!! The deep purple goes so well with her kindergarten uniform. The soles are rugged & well treaded with great arch support. Safe, stylish with unique details in their embellishment, but not over done. No compromise for price here that's for sure. They are every bit as good as the brands that are an inch away from $100 for only $40. Rec'd them in 2 days in time for 1st day of school. I was even skeptical enough to send her with a spare pair of shoes in her book bag in case they hurt during the day. Got a note from her teacher whose also a mom: "Where did you buy her shoes?" Jumping Jacks - my new brand!! Highly recomment. Sincerely, Shoe Queen Gramma :) :)
