Great boot to keep your kids feet warm and dry. The downside is that they are hard for kids to put on unassisted because the shaft of high and could open up more when the laces are loosened.I love that the boots feel very durable. The top part of the boots are very fluffy and soft which was one of the reasons i purchased them. I ordered a size bigger than what my daughter normally wears in boots. When they arrived today I had my daughter try them on and they were as small as the boots I was trying to replace. They will work for now but I purposely purchased a bigger size so that they would be able to be worn for a longer period of time.The only reason I am opting to not return or exchange them is for the fact that a bigger size of the same boots is more than $20 price difference. I could get a different color in the next size up but for the same price.. im not sure how exaclty that works because they are the exact same boots just a different color. I just feel like its insane to pay even more money for the same boots in a bigger size especially when a different color in the exact same size is the same price.We will deal with these boots for this winter but I will make sure to be checking out all of my options when I purchase snow boots. Especially on the price markups over sizes and colors. ( that just seems odd to me )otherwise the boots right now seem fine, i will update if there is any changes in the status of my opinion on the product)I bought two pairs of these for my two daughters. They normally wear a size 4.5-5 and a 5-6, but I simply measured their feet and went to the next full size (we bought size 6 & 7 big kids). The boots are very warm. My daughter's love the look and colors, they love how soft the boots are all the way inside, because they're faux-fur lined. The extra room in the boots make it easy to wear thick warm socks, too. I wear a size 8 in women's sizes, though, and even I can wear the size 7, with my toe just touching inside. They're easy for my girls to tighten, and get off their feet, too. They've worn the boots a few times already this year, and they've kept their feet warm in below freezing. We have yet to get to the really cold temps in Winter, but so far, these are the best snowboots my daughters have owned. I was only disappointed I found these boots AFTER the size 8 was sold out. I'd be getting some for myself, too - it's nearly impossible to find snowboots rated for -40f in women's boots without paying a small fortune!Very cute boots! Very tight/ hard to put on daughter.I'm pretty happy with these. They do run small in my opinion. My daughter wears a 9, I got these in a 10 and they're perfect. I will say they are hard to get on, harder than I imagine but we don't wear they every day so it isn't a big issue. The string is handy, but it did break like a week into wearing these, hence the 4 stars. I was able to kind of fix it but that was annoying. I do like this brand so I'm surprised that happened. They're very warm for my daughter and the snow does not stick to the bottom which many childrens boots do. Plus they look adorable with the fur!Cute and expect them to be as warm as previous Kamiks we own. They do not have the extra thick liner of some other Kamiks styles, so they the sizing is "truer". Knowing that the Kamiks sizing varies widely based on style, I bought 2 pairs of boots, one 2 sizes bigger and one, 1 size bigger. If you know the accurate measurements of your child's feet, I can't imagine why anyone would need to purchase ( or recommend) going up 2 sizes, especially since this is a tall boot ( for preschoolers). My daughter is a size 10; the 12 was comical, they 11 just right- which plenty of toe room. A pair of smartwool socks underneath would be sufficient. Keep in mind the boot does not untie- it loosens via a cord cincher, so some feet may not get into these boots as easily as others!Beautiful hot pink boots! 10 yr old daughter loves them. Hopefully they will keep her feet warm and dry in the subzero weather we're having now. She wears a 4.5 tennis shoe. I ordered her a size 6 and she said they feel great. The fuzzy lining is soft and fluffy. And they are PINK! Will update after she has a chance to go outside.High quality boots, and I got them at a really great price on Amazon. Normally $60ish, I think we paid $25. Well made, no snow infiltration, hard to get on a squirming three yr old. We use bags over her socks if she has thick socks on to make it easier. I would order one size larger next time we need them, just to make getting them on easier. Also they will fit longer that way. The foot length and width is as expected, the height of the style makes them harder to get on than shorter boots. She said they are comfy, and she was out an hour and a half sledding. No wet feet, not cold. These are really great kid boots. Highly recommend. I kinda want some in my size!These boots are cute looking and relatively warm but the good features stop there. The top is way to poofy for my child to pull her snow pants over top of her boots and of course her snow pants can’t tuck inside the boots so there is always a spot on her leg left exposed to the elements. Unless you are buying these for your kid who will never wear them with a snow suit or to play in the snow, don’t buy them.Unfortunately within 3 weeks of wearing these boots, we noticed the seam coming apart where the fabric meets the black rubber. We've owned Kamik boots before and they lasted my daughter an entire winter. I think it's just this style that isn't as well reinforced/made. Kamik's are usually pretty good. My daughter was sad because she loved the look of these! But kudos to Amazon for refunding me when I let them know. Such great customer service.Their sizing is true. My oldest's feet right now are 21cm, and the Kamik size chart on their website says size 3 is 23cm. The boots are the perfect size for her to have room for socks and for her feet to grow the rest of the season without being unwieldy now.With a medium weight merino wool sock, her feet are comfortable at the coldest temp we have had since they arrived, which is -17C.She is thrilled with them, has no difficulty walking in them, or getting her snowpants over them, even her slimmer style skiing pants.I was happy to buy another pair Kamik boots for her because a previous pair a few years ago had worn well.We usually walk at least 8 - 10 kilometers per week between the ski area and local ice skating and tubing hill, plus other time outside playing pretty much every single day regardless of weather. Also, ski school isn't cancelled unless it is colder than -35C to give an idea of the coldest temperatures we are walking in.This pair seems to be just as well made with good thick traction, and I don't expect to have any reason to downgrade or revise this review at the end of the 2019 season.Très déçu, le tissus juste en haut de la botte de caoutchouc moulé s'est tout effiloché et déchire... je devrai donc acheté d'autres bottes pour finir l'hiver car les bottes ne sont plus utilisables et prennent l'eau. Ne pas acheté ce modèle, il semble que ce soit un défaut car notre utilisation n'est pas du tout excessive car ma filles les portes seulement pour l'école depuis décembre dernier ... il semble que ce soit seulement ce modèle car j'ai déjà eu des bottes Kamik pour les enfants et ça a toujours été d'execellent produit. La grandeur était correcte.Ne pas acheter, défaut de faiblesse dans les coutures et tissue qui joignent la botte moulée au haut de la botte en tissus.This is the 3rd pair of these exact boots we have ordered for our daughter. They are perfect, easy to slip on without help from an adult. Tall enough to walk through big piles of snow and not a single pair we have owned have leaked or made her feet wet. We would get multiple winters of out them if her feet wouldn’t grow so quickly!
