Good shoe - very light weight. They're fashionable and reasonably well constructed (I see no obvious flaws in construction) but I don't anticipate they'll last longer than a season. However, that's exactly why I got them - at the rate my kid's feet are growing, I want a decent shoe at a good price.One note - I bought these to be casual "go anywhere" shoes for my daughter and for that purpose they fit the bill to a T. However, If you're looking for athletic footwear (e.g., running shoes) than look elsewhere. The soles of these shoes is insufficient and the construction is not substantial enough to survive the abuse of running consistently. That's not what they're for.
