I ordered these for my daughter. She is 6 and is pretty hard on her shoes. They have held up OK. The fabric on the sides is a little worn from sitting cross-legged (I guess). She chooses to wear them to school every day over her other shoes so they must be comfortable. I am happier with these than Sketchers, which seem to show wear so quickly that I've stopped buying them.We just ordered these shoes about a few weeks ago and so far, my son loves them. I have no issues with them, as of yet. Or I should say, my son has no issues. I do want to point out-when you look from far away, the 'N' logo does look like it's pink as other reviews have stated; it's actually blue and orange, but no issue. My 5 year likes them. The shoes wear well as they do not rub any part of her to make blisters. I did purchase no tie laces for them since she is unable to tie her shoes yet. Even with the extra purchase of laces the shoes were a great price. (Shoes were $17)I ordered these shoes for my 11 year old son, and he absolutely loves them! He says they feel comfortable when running, and they look cool. I've always been a fan of New Balance and I've owned several pairs myself, so I had to get some for my some. These are actually his first NB shoes, and he loves them over any other pair I've bought him in the past. I highly recommend them! The top of the shoe rim has worn-off really fast and within a month sponge is showing. Not sure if my son did something to accelerate the wear on it but I have not seen the same issue in other New Balance shoes.I have no complaints regarding these shoes, especially for the price that I paid for them. They are stylish and seem to be durable. Iwould recommend these for anyone who is purchasing them for their kids or for anyone who is like me and happens to be very short. I'm 4'7"and an adult and finding durable shoes is difficult when your shoe size is child size.We just put these out to pasture after about 9 months of solid wear and tear and basketball games on weekend too. I trust the new balance brand and my daughter enjoyed wearing these. She has an issue with wearing out the sides of her shoes but this didn't happen right away with these so that was a pleasant surprise.I take out the regular laces and replace them with The Freindly Swede No Ties and my daughter easily slides them on in the morning before school. She loves how comfortable they are and wears them all day for school. The color is not a true purple but more of a bluish purple with an orangish pink.
