Nice boot that keeps your feet warm but, they are not waterproof. If you are walking in snow they are fine but, walk through a puddle or play in snow your feet will get wet. They are also good boots for hiking and are comfortable and sturdy.Good boots - my kiddo didn't want the standard boot and wanted ones more like tennis shoes. These work well and the ice things on the bottoms (crampons?) work well when it is icy out. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is the crampons are not stainless and rust, so when he takes his boots off, rust gets on our floors from the crampons. I would put stainless or another type of rust proof metal on the bottom.Super great quality boots at a good price. I purchased the boots for my 6yr old son and he used them all winter. The boots are perfect for all kinds of weather and easy for my son to put on by himself because of the Velcro straps. I’m happy with my purchased.As a mother of a child who wears AFOs, finding winter boots for recess at school has been a nightmare, until now. These boots are amazing, and open up wide so a foot with an AFO can easily slide in! I bought so many pairs of boots hoping they would work for my daughter, with no luck, I will definitely be buying these year after year. Thank you for making a product that fits with an AFO, I will be telling everyone I know who has a child that wears them about these!!!My 4 yr old son is in a little boys size 11. I ordered a size 11.5 (awesome that they have half sizes!) to ensure these make it through the winter. I'm so glad I did! A twelve would have been enormous and the 11's would not have fit for long. These are perfect and have enough room to layer socks if we need to. I'm guessing these run pretty true to size. I ordered the style with the bungie cord where laces would go and the single velcro strap around the ankle. This style is a great choice for every day use since these are quite high around the ankle. The style with 3 velcro straps look even higher around the ankle and I thought they might be too bulky for my little guy. An older kid would probably handle the 3 velcro strap style better than him. The style with the 3 velcro straps would have offered more support around the ankle since you can tighten them, but these are perfect for us.I really cannot say enough about these boots. I will definitely be ordering them again for next year. They are very sturdy, warm, have great features, seriously everything I could ask for in a good winter shoe/boot. We have regular, tall snow boots for our son to wear out playing in the snow but where we live we have pretty severe snow storms and get several feet of snow so these will be perfect for every day use. The price was amazing, shipping was fast, honestly one of my favorite Amazon purchases! My husband is going to wish they had these in his size!These boots are awesome ? not only are they exactly as described they are fashionable. My son loved them. All his friends want them. Had to group txt the parents where to find these boots. Worth every cent! Only thing was they were shipped in a plastic bag, inside a shipping bag. So I had to find a box to fit them in so I could wrap them. As they were a present. But even so they arrived safely w/ no issues!I was looking for an option for water resistance shoes as my son was coming every day from school with his sneakers and socks damp wet because of how wet and muddy the playground area was. We live in a very rainy and cold area so it was imperative to find something quick. raining boots was a no as he hates them. So I found this but didn’t have high hopes. For my surprise… My son lovessss this boots (and mom). He rarely likes ANY shoes that are not ‘Skechers’. Others makes his feet very tired and uncomfortable, not this ones. He has been using this boots for over a month now EVERY single day to school with no complaints. They still look ‘like new’ when they are clean (rarely never). So far so good!My 7 year old is very happy with these boots. He is easily able to get them on and off on his own, and they do a great job of keeping his feet dry while he runs around and digs in the snow. Great quality for the price.I loved these; they look really good and keep my boy's feet warm and dry. They are good for hiking, and my boy prefers them over his rain and snow boots when it is not too snowy or wet, that is. The only thing is that the foldable metal spikes are not really functional. I will purchase again.Kids enjoyed the shoes for one winter and grw out of then for next year its good for one year for the little onesBoots seemed like they would be warm and comfortable and especially liked that there is a hook for icy days so kids wont slip. Sizing chart needs to be more clear as it's difficult to find how to order a wider boot as the length was good it was just too narrow. Return took a very long time to be processed.
