I ended up buying three pairs of these gloves for my two kids. I initially bought small for my 4yo and medium for my 6yo, both of them have always been on tall for their age. The medium was too large for my 6yo so those are set aside for future winters. The small fit my 6yo with some room. I ordered an Extra small for my 4yo and honestly I didn't notice they were any smaller than the small. There was still about 1/2" + of space at the finger tips. The design is perfect for keeping snow out of their coat sleeves. I would recommend to any parent for snowy weather. I would just say for younger kids to opt for the mittens instead of the gloves. I only got the gloves because my kiddo wanted to have use of their fingers in the snow.I bought 2 pairs fir each of my boys to wear on our family Christmas trip to the Arctic Circle. Hands stayed warm, gloves never came off, and most importantly, snow never got in the sleeves, EVER!!! This is huge because my boys, ages 6 and 10 like to wrestle in the snow.Bought a pair of these in large and mittens to be shared by a 6 & 8 year old. Fit perfect and keep hands dry and warm. The gloves fit all three kids and myself well. We have yet to try them out when sledding and playing in the snow, but they seem like they will keep everyone from getting snow up their sleeves!!Overall, these are nice gloves to have for a kid. The quality is good, the length of the cuffs are great (when it's on correctly) and should be waterproof. I say "should be" because I have noticed one glove is usually damp on the inside. It is kind of difficult for my 6 yr old to put it on himself and am not sure if he gets any help at school putting them on before going outside, however, I find myself having to dry them when he gets home. It could just very well be that he isn't pulling up the cuff over his jacket and thus snow gets in...I can't say for sure. I would still recommend these! So far the gloves are holding up well.My kids love wearing these. Keeps forearms warm and snow out of their gloves. These gloves are durable and comfortable. They have extra long wrist protection and keep hands warm.
