Dropped one star, due to the fact that it has hard plastic floor protectors on the legs. Makes the chair very slippery on a hard wood floor. Once, the Grandyoungun' had it slip out from under him when he was trying to sit down. I went to the Big Orange home store, and got 4 rubber floor protectors, pulled the plastic ones off, and replaced them with the rubber feet. No more sliding. Well pleased with it now.I purchased 2 chairs. they are very sturdy.I had to clean off chocolate ice cream off one and cherry popsicle off the other. Both wiped clean and left no stain. Both were delivered in perfect condition.Grandchildren love them and you cannot beat the price.I bought this chair for my 1.5 year old son. It's totally cute and he took to it right away! One of the legs is a bit off giving the chair a slight wobble, but not enough that it's concerning or unsturdy. This chair is great for sitting, it's roomy and the seat has a lot of cushioning. The back of the chair has less cushioning than I had imagined but still seems to be comfortable for my son. Now I mentioned that I have a 1.5 year old - boy. This means that we don't do a lot of sitting still. He likes to run to his chair and plop in - the chair however is pretty light and gets pushed when he does so. To counter this we pushed the chair against the wall, but then he seems to hit his head a lot when he leans back. He is also working on learning to sit properly which means fidgeting, rocking, and climbing, because of the light weight it seems to tip over backwards pretty easily for him. We don't allow him to jump in the chair or climb on it, and he is supervised while using it, but I find he often pushes on the back to climb in, turn around and get situated. When he does this calmly it's not a problem, but when he's got some energy behind him, he tips the chair over. I should note that I am the one who doesn't like the chair tipping, my son finds it hillariously fun, the result more pushing and rocking.I do like this chair and am keeping it as I know it will be great in the future when my son has learned to sit better but for now it's in hiding.I would offer caution to parents who have very active children like mine who are still learning to sit properly. I know this will sound silly to some, but I know some of you will understand.* I have purchased a Harmony Kids standard Rocker for my active learner. It's not as cute but works better for us. The fact that it rocks has kept it from going over backwards it seems. My disclaimer being that I supervise my son and have not allowed him to explore the limits of this chair.Did not like that I was not able to enclose a gift card. It arrived and they did not know who it was from.I had bought this for my daughter for her first birthday as it seems that every little kid I know who has one LOVES it.Construction: seems decently made for kids. Definitely wouldn't stand if an adult sat on it but I wouldn't expect a kids chair to be made to do so. One issue I had however is that it's lopsided. Per my picture, one leg is not level with the other so it wobbles. Luckily, she uses it on the carpet so it isn't noticed. But if I was using it on hardwood I would be SO MAD. It rocks like crazy.Color: I ordered the brown chair so it matched our house better than bright pink since it will be in our living room. When I got it, I thought it looked black and had to check to make sure I ordered the right thing (I did). When you look super close it sort of looks brown. Others also thought it was black.Pattern: I am so happy I got a chair with a pattern. I know some reviewers said they had issues with stains showing. I feel like the pattern hides it all.Fabric: fabric is thinner but not bad. I know people had issues with stains. I put fabric protectant on it and the milk she spills just beads off.All in all, the construction isn't perfect- but it's a kids chair so I expect it's going to get used a ruined. No reason to spend and arm and a leg for a child's chair.Great little chair for our 1 year old. Our four year old also likes to sit in it. The stain resistance is non-existent so scotch guard on the chair would be wise. (We didn’t and I heavily regret not. Our little isn’t even that messy but it still stains very quickly) The cover does not come off either so you’re stuck with it that way.For being so light, I’m surprised how sturdy it is. Our 4 year old has jumped on and off it daily and it has yet to tip or break. Our 1 year old is happy to have her own little chair and sits in it everyday.Looks great and the grandkids love it. The back is covered over the frame but doesn't have filler in it so thats my greatest concern.Other than that I am pleasedAfter hundreds of Amazon purchases, I have never left a review but after receiving this product and reading the reviews before purchasing, I felt I had to. This is the best chair ever! My one year old can get in and out of it with ease, it is well made and fits her just perfect. I would highly recommend this product and will be purchasing more for her to have at family members houses. Now, that being said, I want to touch on the negative reviews. Sure, if you act like a monkey in it, it will tip over, but if you just sit in the chair it is perfect. My daughter has to hold on to the arms and then crawl in and it doesn't rock or act like its going to fall over. She also has to slide her butt forward to get out, and again no rocking or tipping. Maybe its just me but we do not allow standing on chairs. As far as the fabric stains easily with food....... there is a simple solution, don't eat in the chair. It is fabric just like most chairs and sofas. My husband dripped water on the arm from a glass that was sweating and it dried and left no stain or mark. Some of the negative reviews are from operator error and have nothing to do with the construction of the chair.I absolutely love this toddler armchair! My 2 year old loves it too. She lies across it and reads books. She puts her dolls on it. Any kid that visits likes to sit in it. It is very sturdy with a wooden frame (much better than the foam framed chairs on the market). Also very light weight and can be easily moved. My daughter can even lift it and move it herself. It sits on four raised wooden legs. The red gingham fabric looks good too. I would suggest covering it with a throw if your toddler likes to eat while sitting on it as crumbs can get into the crevices. I also wish i bought the sofa version or the one with an ottoman. Thankfully i got mine on sale through Prime and i paid around $50ish which was a steal!Pésima calidad, malos acabados y medianamente confortable. Es fácil sentir la madera en el descansabrazos, lo que puede ser peligroso para un niño.El soporte del asiento es claramente cartón, por lo que no se puede esperar que dure un par e años o al menos lo suficiente para que un niño deje de usarlo. The size, style, colour and cost are great. Our babe really loves the chair and can get in and out of it easily. The chair itself is a bit lumpy in some places, where it probably could have used more staples in the foam, etc. I wish the lumpiness wasn't so visible. There was a really strong smell for at least a week. It's not the nicest smell and it still has it but way less intense. I really do like the chair though and would recommend it.Bought this chair for my grandson's first birthday. Just started using it in the past 2 weeks. The cushioned seat has already broke...after a 25 lb kid sitting in it. This is the second chair I bought. First one, still going strong. This one, broken after 2 weeks. Not impressed by this purchase.I ordered this for my 1 year old granddaughter and I was thrilled with the quality and good looks of this chair. She was delighted to have her own grown up looking chair and she is able to get in and out with ease. It is stable and comfortable for a little one....and even her 5 year old sister likes to sit in it too!! It fits nicely into the colour scheme and decor of the room and doesn't "scream" playroom. Very delighted with this purchase
