Since there are no half sizes, I purchased the size 6 slipper for my son who wears 6/6.5 in regular shoes. I wanted him to be able to wear slippers both with and without socks and it was a bit too small. I returned the 6 and have ordered the size 7. Hopefully the 7 will fit him well.The slippers looks like they are constructed well and the soles look like they won't allow my son to slip and slide on the hardwood, which he is currently doing in his socks.I have a narrow foot and look forward to comments about "runs narrow." This is a really nice little shoe, well made. However, it runs narrow and didn't fit my granddaughter. It would have been helpful if "B width" or "medium width" had given me a clue.I ordered these for my 3 year old to wear at his Montessori school. The slippers lasted about 7 days before the red threading came undone from the back of the slipper. I was expecting a product that is made for preschoolers to hold up better than that, and am distressed that I already need to purchase new slippers only 1 month into the school year, and not because the slippers no longer fit but because they didn't hold up well.These slippers are cute and my 3yr old loves them. Unfortunately, after less than a month, he brought them to me and said he couldn't wear them anymore. The heel support was all bunched up and felt like small pebbles rubbing against his skin. I tried to return them to Amazon and was informed that it was too far past my order date. Pretty disappointed overall, with the slippers, Foamtrends, and Amazon. Guess the only recourse is to make sure I save a few people from a terrible purchase. Buy your kids different slippers, these won't last.These are terrible slippers. The supporting material in the heel of the slipper falls apart quickly and creates a bunched section of rough material that rubs against the heels and makes the slippers uncomfortable to wear. We were careful in putting them on our son's feet to minimize this - we didn't let him crush the heels of the shoes by walking around with them slipped only over the front of his feet. For a $30 kids slipper, I expect a lot more.My son enjoys wearing his slippers; they're always by the foot of his bed.Bought them for my 18 month old because socks weren't enough for our hardwood floors and he loves to wear them! Great deal and I will buy them again.I was so disappointed in these slippers! The underside of the elastic inserts is very stiff and hard...the edges actually felt sharp to my husband. No way are these going on our grandson's feet! Returning immediately.
