I got these in the "2.5-3 little kid" size & they fit my son well! They're roomy enough for this feet, but not so big on him that they'll be loose & sloppy on his feet. He just turned 8 & his feet measure 7.5 inches (from the back of his heel to the tip of his big toe) & there's enough room in them for him to wear thick socks to keep his feet warm inside of them. He'll probably get at least another year out of them without them being "too loose."They have a sole inside of them, but I wouldn't say they'd be comfortable enough for "all day wear" at school. There isn't much cushioning inside of them, but they'll be fine enough I'm sure for walks on a rainy day or to go to a rainy/muddy fair or festival for a few hours, etc.I really like that these can cinch close at the top & that's why I got them since my son's other rainboots didn't have that feature & water would splash inside his boots & get his feet/ankles wet since let's face it, all kids are going to jump & splash around in puddles lol.I personally don't see how these would be warm enough for winter use in the snow though, unless it's a pretty warm day out & your child isn't outside for very long & is wearing super warm wool socks or layers of socks lol. These are thin plastic without any real way to "insulate" a child's feet very long for warmth. I know these would never work for the winters we live in...my son has insulated, waterproof warm winter boots for that, but they'll be great for the rainy Fall weather we get & for when the snow's melting in the Spring & there's puddles & slush everywhere! My son likes the camouflage design of them & it's nice that it can match with any outfit & isn't some "bright" color/design like many other rain boots can be that you find at the store, which are fun, but older kids may not be into wearing those designs/colors as much.My only complaint is the plasticy smell to these boots...I've put them out in the garage to air them out since opening them & the smell has dissapated some, so I hope it dissipates more the longer they sit out there. It's just a chemical plastic smell & his other rainboots (which were made of a different type of rubbery plastic than these) didn't smell that way & perhaps it's because those sat in the store "off gassing" their plastic smell for a bit before we bought them. So I don't know what type of plastic these are made of, but whatever it is, I sure hope the "plastic" smell goes away more or I don't want to keep them in my home & I'll have to keep them in the garage instead. I wouldn't want my foyer closet starting to smell of plastic boots every time I open it or have our jackets in there somehow picking up that smell. I'm sure it will dissipate with time, just be aware that you may want to air these out for awhile if the plastic smell bothers you too.Overall, I think they'll be great due to the fact that they can cinch close at the top, which isn't something I've seen on the rainboots my store sells, so I was pleasantly surprised & glad when I saw these & that they have an added feature like that for keeping children's feet dryer for longer!! No kid wants wet feet cutting short their playtime outside & no parent wants their poor kid having soggy wet feet making them uncomfortable or making them catch a cold! This rain boots fits perfectly on my kid. they are easy to put on and remove as well. it is rain proof and stops the feet from getting wet from rain. the color and design on this show is also greatThese are just okay boots. I rated them a little higher because the price for them is right around $20 which is just about the quality that you’re getting. I don’t love the cinch string on it too much either. My son likes them plenty enough of course, so I’m happy. Kids grow out of this stuff so quickly that I’d say this is a pretty good buy.Wrong size but the shoes are cute. They are waterproof and shiny. My child just can't fit themMy child really likes these. They keep their feet dry.I like this rainboots as its well made and good material was used for the uppers ans soles. Its just not like one of those cheap hard uppers, this one is very pliable and thus make it comfortable. My son loved wearing it already this past few weekends and even wore it to a school field trip on a rainy day. I suggest wearing some thick wool socks with this for some cushion and warmth during this cold fall days. The cinch cord at the top can be tightened to keep the elements out of your feet. The sole is a grippy rubber that looks like oil resistant too.I really don't have anything to dislike on this pair of boots, as it looks and feel good! I would highly recommend this to my family and friends and to you! I don't think that there's anything that will disappoint you about this product. These boots are great for those rainy days splashing through puddles. They have a great pattern and I love that they can be sinched up top to make them tight even if they are a little big they stay on. They are solid construction and no water gets through, keeping little feet dry! These rain boots are very nice. You can tighten them up at the top. They’re very durable comfortable. They fit perfectly. They are see-through a little bit, but that does not matter still nice rain boot.
