I finally had to order these shoes from Amazon because none of the shoe stores here had it, and neither did Reebok or anyone else online. I felt quite odd ordering shoes here.I have worn the Reebok youth/big kid/boys shoe (whatever they're calling it this year) for years because I have a small women's foot (size 6) in which no manufacturer makes a shoe wide enough anymore (even Hush Puppies, which used to be my go-to). Even if I can find a 6W in a women's Reebok it is not as wide as this shoe. Plus it is an identical shoe to the women's shoe, but usually $20 less! (Another example of how women are overcharged for clothing.)I admit these modern shoes are not as good as the ones they have made in the past. I notice the soles on these are a 1/4 inch thinner than my old pair, which are two years old. The stitching that fastens the tongue to the shoe is bulky and rubs against my right foot, but that foot is always slightly swollen since I tore the ligaments in it 13 years ago. Frankly, since I was in junior high I have never had a shoe that, however comfortable later on, did not hurt me until I got them "broken in." At least I don't have to put band-aids on my toes and behind my heels like I had to the first few weeks of school anymore.Oh, and thank you for the longer laces, Reebok. My old shoes were constantly coming untied because the laces on the last set were so short. I also like that these are completely black, even the logo. They are much more appropriate to wear to work.
