My daughter really likes these shoes and they're much easier to put on than other brands we've tried.This shoe is awesome and the only running shoe my toddler will wear without complaining. We received a smaller size as hand-me-downs as the first running shoe my toddler wore - and because of how structured it was, she could wear it comfortably and safely, even when it was technically a few sizes big. The first pair held up for 2 years. When my toddler continuously rejected the more affordable brands - even the ones with cute princess prints, I finally caved and ordered this shoe - again, a size or two up. We have a happy toddler again - the shoe is easy for her to take off and put on herself. We've also found it's holding up amazing even though we've had to run it through the wash after potty-training accidents have soaked the shoe. I have a feeling we'll be ASICS fans in this house indefinitely. If you have a picky toddler - don't waste your money or time on the cheap brands! The shoes hold up well and are easy to clean off. Not sure if it’s this version of the Contend or the larger size (size 7), but then insole is not intended to come out. I miss being able to easily remove the insert to shake the sand out.Shoe looks great but not for chubby wide feet. My 13 month old hated having them on. Length wise it was a great fit. It was a great fit for my Younger nephew.Love love love these shoes for my daughter. They are not narrow as many toddler shoes. They are also so easy to put on and take off saving myself so much time.These are really cute and at a great price. Toddlers grow so quickly didn't want to spend a fortune. Granddaughter has a bit of a wide foot, these fit her well.
