My soon-to-be ten-year-old loves these shoes. Which is great, since I told her that for the price, she's wearing them until her toes pop out.I originally purchased a size 3 in a different design, which were a reasonable price. Well, it turns out DC's run a bit small. We had to return them. By then, of course, the reasonably priced design was sold out. With her heart now set on a pair of DC's, I went ahead and ordered these in a size 3 and a half, even though they cost more than any pair of shoes I have ever bought for myself. They fit, and she's happy, but the charms fell off within a week of her wearing them daily, and now that she has had them a month, the sparkles on the toes are scuffed. From now on, she either gets the $15 pair from Target, or she pays for her own shoes.
