Nice sturdy shoe for my 6 year old with over pronation. His ankles seem to wobble less in these. One did get a small hole near the toe in less than month. Disappointing, but It's the only pair he wears for various sports and he's tough on shoes.Look great! Teen's favorite shoe and she has foot issues!Just an FYI : The orange/gray is more of a coral color and looked like a girls shoes. I returned them and got the blue/gray ones for my son.Great shoes! We have had to buy these shoes for my daughter for 4 years now. We average about two pairs a year due to her growing. She has severe flat feet and wears orthopedic inserts in them as well. These shoes were recommended to us by her podiatrist. We have always had good experiences with NB products. Our daughter has an over-pronated foot and has to have stiff shoes and room for her orthotics. New Balance are one of the only shoes on the market that fit the bill adequately for sturdiness and quality construction.I bought these shoes for my son after reading reviews online that recommended them for helping to correct overpronation. They did a pretty good job on that front, but, boy, am I disappointed with their durability. They arrived less than three weeks ago, and the uppers of both shoes already have holes in them. We had much better luck with NB 574s, which usually lasted about 5 months without any holes. NB needs to use better mesh/fabric on the uppers of these. $60+ down the drain - will not buy this model again! These are really great shoes. My son (5yo) loves the colors and they fit him well. We usually buy New Balance, so I know they fit his foot well. He was so excited to get them, that he asked me to start teaching him how to tie his shoes!Nice shoe for kids. My son enjoys the running and playing in the shoe and he loves the colors.
