The shoes are fitting fantastic. They were actually alittle wider than the ones we get through therapy services, so it made it even easier for independence for my preteen son that wears AFOs. For those that don't know, AFOs are ankle/foot orthotics for children and adults that need extra support for their legs and feet. Sturdy build! These are the only brand we want to use with our AFOs! Unfortunately they can't be used without the AFOs on as it is too wide but that is to be expected. Definitely reccomend!!I love the billy footwear they are easy for my son and his orthopedics works great with them and he loves them. This not much that I don't like about the shoes. Billy footwear is definitely good quality and definitely worth the money. I would definitely recommend this shoes especially for those that wear orthopedics.These shoes are a God Send for children with AFOs! Shoe zips for easy on and off and is great for children with developmental difficulties!These fit over my son's AFO's (leg braces) and are easy to put on him. They are a time saver. They aren’t particularly girly and it’s hard to find a wide but we take what we can get. Unfortunately the zippers break on these so easily. On our behalf, she did get them wet on a rainy day which always weakens the material but these are very expensive and we go through about 6 pair a year and it really adds up. We are hoping and waiting patiently for a more durable shoe.
